About Us Personalized Bike Plates . com is a
division of Personalized Gifts Inc., inc
We are a family run business, originally located in Brooklyn NY but as
most New Yorkers, we have relocated to Florida. We have been
making wonderful personalized gifts since 1992 and began our appearance
on the internet in 1999 with personalized photo gifts at TAG Designs.
Personalized Bike Plates quickly became one of our most desired products
that we decided to dedicate a separate website just for the cycle
enthusiasts. But... Bike plates are not only used for bicycles.
Many people use them for Laundry/Mail carts, Wheel chairs, to put on
children's doors or desks, even pet homes. They've even been used
as a belt on a famous daytime soap and have appeared in many other TV
productions as well as on movie sets and even in off Broadway
productions.

About the Plates
We have 3 different types of plates. 4hole Plastic, -
2 hole and 4 hole Aluminum. The plastic and aluminum 4 hole plates
are high gloss where the 2 hole plates have a UV coating that will show
a blotchy finish when you look close up. The UV coating is
good for bikes that will be outside for long periods of time in the hot
southern states. For general use in the Southern states, the
glossy (non uv coating) should do just fine. |
